what are your hobbies/interests?
my hobby is joining beauty pageants. so far, i've joined FHM's girl next door, ford's supermodel of the world, miss simgapore world, miss singapore chinatown, miss singapore ang mo kio, miss ngee ann polytechnic and the one where i actually won, miss joined the most beauty pageants singapore.

describe yourself.
well, i'm just like everybody else. i have two eyes, two ears, two arms, two legs, one nose and one mouth.

what or who inspired you to join miss singapore universe 2007?
after parading in bikinis at mostly club venues, i decided it was time for me to parade in a bikini on national television.

how will you be a role model to others?
i don't really like rolling around very much, and i don't like models. i'm a beauty pageant contestant, but i'm not a model. to me, models only need to be pretty, whereas i like people to like me for my brains.

what cause(s) will you fight for in your capacity as miss singapore universe?
i don't like people fighting. just last week, i was at dragonfly and my boyfriend wanted to fight with this guy because he was staring at me. i think fighting is childish and immature and i don't encourage it.

describe a typical day in your life.
it depends on which day it is. normally, on weekdays, i wake up, then i brush my teeth and take a shower. after that, i will go online to see if there are any beauty pageants to join, at night, i will go clubbing.

who embodies the ideal "perfect woman" and why?
to me, the perfect woman is zoe tay. i think she is very pretty and very brave. how many women do you know dare to tell people that they swallow?

share a life-changing experience which happened to you.
it definitely has to be winning the title of miss joined the most beauty pageants singapore. even though only my family knew about the pageant, i felt that it gave me a new purpose in life because i have always joined pageants but have never won. it can be frustrating. without winning that title, i might not be here today.

what is the best piece of advice that someone has given to you which you acted upon?
there was this columnist in the new paper and he always talked about how miss singapore universe contests kena langgar lorry. since then, i have been very careful around lorries and i'm happy to say i have never been involved in a lorry accident.

if you win the msu2007 prize money of $25000, what will you use it for?
i will, of course, give some to my mother - after i buy the prada bag and the mini cooper convertible which i have been eyeing for some time now.
